LYRICAL CLARINET LEGENDS
SUGGESTED GRADINGS

This is a list of SUGGESTED GRADINGS for all pieces in Lyrical Clarinet Legends, based on the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) syllabus. The gradings can be used for other similar exam systems.

The list has been prepared by a panel of three highly experienced teachers and Clarinet specialists. 

Some pieces are between grades (1/2), so decide the grade according to how sophisticated the performer's interpretation is - for example, the use of phrasing, dynamic control, and the handling of tempo changes. 

DISCLAIMER: This is not a formal grading by the AMEB. These gradings are suggestions only, it is the responsibility of individual teachers to ensure the music is suitable for their student's exam/eisteddfod entry etc.
